£1400 Donated to St Francis Hospice
F Barnes have always supported the local hospice. We are a member of the 'St Francis Business Alliance Group' where local businesses work together to try to do as much as they can to raise the needed funds to enable the hospice to provide the palliative care so many people require.
When an original member of the Alliance group, Stephen James of Stephen James Estate Agents, suggested starting a local networking group in Hornchurch we were delighted to offer our support.
The Hornchurch Plus Networking Group was created and began life last January, meeting lunchtime on the third Thursday
every month at the Mandarin in Hornchurch.
The group agreed to nominate St Francis Hospice as their chosen charity. Members quickly grew and Stephen has worked tirelessly in organising some fantastic guest speakers and making everyone feel welcome each month.
This month Stephen presented the Hospice with a cheque for £1366.46 with a further £50 following this week.
Congratulations to all that have contributed, we are a great group and hope for bigger and better things this year.
