The Symphony Legal Annual Conference and Awards Dinner was held in Stratford- Upon-Avon on the 6th & 7th October. There were 10 categories for awards and Tiina was nominated for Managing Partner/Director of the Year 2016.
This conference is attended by legal practices nationally and the competition is high. Many legal practices who appear in the top legal 500 attend and submit entries for these recognised awards.
The criteria for this category was summarised by the organisers as follows:
It is generally recognised nowadays that running a successful law firm depends on more than just being a good lawyer. With a widened legal market place and ever-discerning clients, the management of a law firm is critical to future success. The role of Managing Partner/Managing Director has been embraced by many and the importance of this role recognised.
The judges will be looking for evidence of a clear vision and plan that is understood and adopted throughout the firm. The winner would need to demonstrate good management principles and innovative thinking when it comes to getting the most out of their team.
We are delighted to say that Tiina was awarded ‘Winner’. This is such a well deserved award and we would like to congratulate Tiina on all her hard work and dedication.
Tiina is pictured below with colleague and director ‘Katrina Lewis’ who also attended the legal conference.
