F Barnes are based in Romford, Gidea Park and Collier Row. We have a strong loyal client base having been established in the Havering area for over 65 years. Our fee earners are all specialists in their respective fields and act for a wide range of commercial and private sector clients.

The Candidate

• Excellent IT skills to include, Office 365, Excel, Word, and TEAMS
• Excellent organisational skills
• You will have experience and general knowledge of civil litigation.
• Experience in assisting with matters on behalf of commercial and individual clients on a wide range of litigation matters to include landlord and tenant, breach of contract claims, debt recovery, insolvency and commercial litigation, to include drafting of legal documents
• Co-ordinate with counsel and clients
• Preparing of court documents for trial and hearings
• Experience with LEAP case management and Bundlepro preferable.
• Enthusiasm to engage in networking and business development;
• Clear demonstrable ability and keenness to build and maintain client and referrer relationships;
• Knowledge of court procedures

About the Role

You will be working alongside our Litigation Solicitor, Niroshan David and our Managing Director, Tiina Juhanson assisting with a varied caseload of general civil litigation to include, breach of contract, landlord and tenant, contested probate, building disputes, eviction and debt recovery matters.

We use LEAP case management system, so previous experience with this is of benefit.

The day will be a varied day largely providing support to Niroshan David but to include supporting members of the litigation and family team if required.

You will have the opportunity to expand and grow with the benefit of working with experienced members of our team.

You will be client facing and involved in the caseload you are assisting in.

You should have a passion to provide the most excellent in client care.

Salary: Competitive according to experience
