Marta Udoh

Marta joined F Barnes in February 2025. She qualified as a solicitor in December 2019 and  undertakes a broad range of private family matters such as divorce, dissolution, and financial proceedings arising from the breakdown of marriage with assets spread internationally.

Marta also represents unmarried couples and can draft cohabitee, pre-nuptial, and post-nuptial agreements. She often advises clients on court proceedings but also helps to navigate a settlement directly, for those who are in negotiations and mediation.

Marta specialises in difficult children matters such as; contact disputes, residence, and relocation with allegations of psychological and physical abuse, parental alienation and coercive control. She instructs experts and works alongside KCs to achieve the best outcome for the client and children of the family.

Marta has a wealth of experience of advocating for clients who are victims of domestic abuse, and she focuses on listening to the client and their individual needs, she has been described as ‚truly gifted’ and she is valued for her transparency. Marta is fluent in Polish and can therefore assist the Polish community with ease.

Marta is based at our Romford office and is supervised by Tiina Juhanson our Head of Family

Outside of work Marta enjoys travelling and long walks with her dog Winston.
