Vacancy Litigation Solicitor 3+ year PQE for Romford

We are looking for a 3+ year PQE Litigation solicitor who has a broad spectrum of experience that leans heavily towards civil and commercial litigation.

The Candidate needs to have:

• 3+ years PQE solicitor with general litigation & advocacy experience
• Fairly local and able to commute to Romford daily
• LEAP case management preferable but not necessary
• Excellent IT skills to include, Office 365, Excel, Word, and TEAMS
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience in assisting with matters on behalf of commercial and individual clients on a wide range of litigation matters to include inheritance disputes, landlord and tenant, breach of contract claims, debt recovery, insolvency, negligence and commercial litigation, to include drafting of legal documents
• Co-ordinate with counsel and clients
• Preparing of court documents for trial and hearings
• Enthusiasm to engage in networking and business development;
• Clear demonstrable ability and keenness to build and maintain client and referrer relationships;
• Ambition to progress and mentor juniors to grow the team
• Professional but friendly and approachable
• Passion to provide excellent customer care.

The Role:

You will be working alongside our Senior Litigation Solicitor, Makayla Phillips and our Head of Department, Tiina Juhanson assisting with a varied caseload of general civil and commercial litigation. You will be assitsing in the supervising of paralegals with landlord and tenant, building disputes, eviction and debt recovery matters.

We use LEAP case management system, so previous experience with this is desirable.

You will have the opportunity to expand and grow with the benefit of working with experienced members of our team. The practice would be happy to work on other areas of litigation that the candidate has a particular specialism in and would support you in the growth of that area of work.
