The £50 Challenge for St Francis Hospice Raises £468 from F Barnes
We were delighted to present St Francis Hospice with our cheque for £468 yesterday. Katrina Lewis and Joanne Druce met with Tom Murtagh of the Hospice at the Barry Hearn room as he is a Patron of the Hospice and founder member of the Business Alliance Group which we have been a part of from the outset.
The money raised was part of the £50 challenge which started in January of this year. The idea being to raise as much as you can within a certain time from a £50 given to you by the Hospice. We held a Wine & Cheese evening and invited guests to enter our raffle for a luxury hamper and two free 'Wills'.
The Wills were won by Steven Roach of Phoenix FM and he has donated them back to us to auction to help raise more money for the lovely charity.
