Chitra Jeebodhun - Property Solicitor at F Barnes
It has been a long wait for us to have Chitra join our team. Covid and Stamp Duty Holiday pressures has meant that there have been delays in getting her over to our F Barnes family but we are so pleased that finally she has made it.
Chitra qualified as a Solicitor in August 2019 and her focus has been to assist clients with all aspects of residential conveyancing. She has a varied caseload of both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases and is also able to assist in handling re-mortgages, transfer of equity, right to buy matters and much more. She is regularly praised for her hard work, attention to detail, her warm and polite nature towards clients and colleagues. Chitra has worked with some high profile clients and takes pride in her work, she works tirelessly to get the right results and values the relationship she builds with her clients.
Chitra is a pro-active, positive Solicitor that ensures you receive the personal and professional service you deserve.
Prior to joining F Barnes, Chitra obtained her LLB at the University of Buckingham and completed the Legal Practice Course at City Law School, London. Chitra began her legal career as an assistant, Paralegal and eventually a Trainee at a London Firm. During her training and post qualifying as a Solicitor, Chitra gained experience within several areas of Law, such as Civil Litigation, Family and Conveyancing matters. Chitra has attended various small claims and Landlord and Tenant court hearings and has worked with experienced barristers. Chitra has had some experience within the Immigration, Personal Injury, Wills and Probate matters.
Outside of office hours, Chitra enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Chitra often visits her relatives in Mauritius and of course soaks up the lovely sunshine too. Chitra has an interest in travelling around the world, when time permits!
