Coronavirus - Let's Look After Our Families

We are heading towards unchartered territory in the coming weeks and are all aware of the impact this may have on our lives. Whilst we are surrounded by the doom and gloom in the news we wanted to bring a positive message to you and your families.

Many of our family members will be self-isolating over the next few weeks and during this time we naturally focus on different things.

Here at F Barnes Solicitors we have already seen a 'spike' in the number of calls from people that would like to 'get their affairs' in order having put this off until now. This is just one area that people will naturally need solicitors advice on. There are also heightened worries about the future of our jobs with the prospect of redundancies and businesses closing as we 'navigate' ourselves through this economic tidal wave.

How can we help?-  Remotely is the answer!

Due to peoples change in circumstances, we have been working on the ways in which we can assist our clients without the need for you to attend our offices so that there is no impact on the provision of services you need.

We are delighted to confirm that our friendly team of legal advisors can happily take instructions on a range of matters without the need for you to visit us if you are either unable to or would prefer not to.

Our Wills and Probate department, for example, are here to prepare your Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the setting up of Trusts. We can still go through all the options available to you and your family, provide effective and experienced advice, giving you complete peace of mind that you and your loved ones are looked after.

Our Family, Property and Employment departments are all able to take instructions and act for your remotely. Whilst we have hit a 'bump' in the road we recognise that we will all need to move forward with our plans at some point as life cannot simply stand still. The time you act will depend on your personal circumstances. Just be rest assured, for us, it is business as usual.

Our message is clear, we have been here for 65 years and will continue to be here long after we have beaten this Coronavirus. Our clients are so very important to us so please do not hesitate to call us if you are worried or need legal advice, that is what we do!

For advice on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Estate Planning, Contested Probate and Inheritance Tax AdviceFamily Matters, Moving Home, Leasehold Extensions or Auction Property, Notary Public Services contact reception@fbarnes.co.uk

We offer fixed fees on a range of services and a personal caring service which are reflected in our client reviews. To enable us to work efficiently and remotely when required we would ask that all enquiries are made via email or telephone.
